Life at Orbit
Orbit encourages a dynamic and inclusive team culture, by actively supporting and investing in a range of activities for the whole team to participate in including annual company offsites, team social events, competitive sports activities, volunteering opportunities and much more. These initiatives are designed to strengthen team bonds and promote a sense of community.
Annual Company Offsites
The Orbit team purposely takes time away from the office, travels to a chosen location together and commits a few days to strategic discussions and creative brainstorming which enhances collaboration, innovation and so much more. Previous locations have included Chamonix, Miami, Barcelona, Newport and Cassis.
Team Socials
Team socials take place on a quarterly basis. The team is assigned a budget and gets to decide the activity, with a strong focus on collaboration. Examples have included cricket, cooking classes, darts, pub quizzes, and more. The activities are enjoyed by all and encourage the building of strong interpersonal relationships.
Sports
Sports activities promote physical well-being and also instil a spirit of teamwork and healthy competition! We actively encourage and support sporting activities throughout the year and are in awe of what our team has achieved including a recent Triathlon.
Volunteering
Orbit places a strong emphasis on social responsibility and actively supports a range of causes. A number of volunteering events take place which allow employees to come together and give back to the community, cultivating a sense of unity and collective purpose. As part of our commitment to giving back, we hired a dedicated CSR consultant to spearhead our efforts!
